FROST!!!

Tonight: Patchy frost. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low near 38. Northwest wind between 5 and 8 mph becoming calm.

Thursday: Patchy frost before 8am. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a high around 68. Calm wind becoming north between 6 and 9 mph.

The past 3 days have been nasty windy temps ranged from 55-60 now frost in early august with a low near 38 anybody else feeling this cold weather. Oh yeah, I haven't seen the sun since Sunday when it was 86 outside :cry: lol

Hey I'm with ya ssom04, I'm just a little further south then ya, were not talking frost at least here. I got to see the sun a little bit today every once in a while. One thing that might be causing some of this cold weather is the fact that the Hudson Bay has yet to unfreeze!! Usually by now I believe some of it would be water, but as of the latest I saw the bay was still covered in ice!! That would probably mean a nasty winter. :eek:

Yeah, I hope we get a good winter. The past winters have been very lousy to Minnesota standards lol :D . But winter is still well off so we got awhile to predict!

Current temp from my weather station thing- 48 but nws has 54?? oh well

The NWS is probably from the top of the hour, or just before. I'm sittin at 49, which is down 4 degrees in around an hr!! It's falling :eek:

63 this morning, 60 was the record low from 1967, right now at 8:14am it's 68 winds north at 3mph.


sure smells like fall to me :)

i had a LOW of 40.3F locally in SW WI...this is nuts...i covered plants last night!

This morning in International Falls when I saw the weather they were reporting 36 degrees!!! I know it's International Falls, but it's AUGUST!

Could the fact The Hudson has not unthawed possibly helped to push the Northern Branch Of The Jet Stream more to the South?

What kind of records have been broken in Canada? Anyone know?
