I know the big wx story today is Frances, but as the trough that is going tio pick her up moves east; offshore flow has developed (gradients here are 4MB offshore right now) and temps are in the mid to upper 90s at many COASTAL locations right now. My digital thermometer showed 96 at last check, which is very unusual for here being that we are only 3 miles or so from the beach. This kind of weather is expected to continue for the next few days.

I bet the beaches were packed today...wonder what it feels like on a hot day to go jump in san fran bay...?

into SFO Bay anytime during the year is a total shock to the system because that's some mighty cold water in that Bay.

Well I went to the beach today...it was 92 degrees at the blasted beach. >_< No escaping the heat there unfortunately. Took some pics of the crowds and might post em once I shrink them down some.
