We have recorded more days above 80* than (June, July and August). This feat has never happened since 1886 the first time wx records were kept.

June: 5 days over 80*
July: 11 days over 80*
August: 10 days over 80*
September: 13 days! (today is #13)

Also, #13 is a record for the most days over 80* (12 days: 1906, 1933)

Shannon - strange high temps for your area indeed. I was thinking about this when you posted how hot it's been on the Porch topic. We've vacationed a lot up north (Michigan, Wisconsin, Canada, Maine) and in July, hoping it would be warm. Ha! I can remember it was so chilly at night we all had long pants and sweatshirts on. And we could see our breath!

Maybe we should have gone on vacation in September? Just kidding....school's back in session...

Well, enjoy it Shannon. You know it's not gonna last!

I know, tomorrow will be just as nice, but we should have a nice wake up call come friday when the cold front finally decides to push its way through.
