New York City's Monthly Rainfall Surpasses 10"

Between 10 pm and 11 pm, New York City received another 0.46" of rain. That brings its daily total to 3.39" and its monthly total to 10.14". This total makes September 2004, the fourth wettest September on record for the City. Before the rain lets up, September 2004 will likely rank as the third wettest September on record.

Overnight, New York City received an additional 1.27" of rain. That pushed its seasonal total to 11.41" making September 2004, the third wettest September on record there. Regular recordkeeping began in 1869.

and thing is if it was not for tropical systems i think it would have been very dry here in delaware in sept ended up with 9.31 inches
