Last night, I was watching "Wheel of Fortune". At about 6:45PM CDT, a SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING was issued for Parker County until 7:30PM. NWS said their dopper radar indicated a severe thunderstorm 8 miles west of Weatherford. The storm was moving east ta 25 MPH. Southern Tarrant and Dallas Counties got the worst end of it.

Another round of thunderstorms came through the DFW area along with the cold front, bringing temperatures down to the lower 60's. The high for today will be around 70 and the low will be 59.

lol... we saw your storm here in Austin from about 2am till 7ish. It's still misting.

It's cooled off nicely and hopefully we'll make it to December without turning on the sprinklers... thought we'd be turning them on yesterday till I saw the forcast. Can't believe it's been so cool and wet here this summer- we haven't turned the sprinklers on at all..

It saves on the water bill that way, which is a good thing. :) At least you're wet there; while we out here in the Far West have been bone dry for what seems like years on end. :(

Yup.

Funny thing is, normally we have water rationing in the summer, not this year.

But The City of Austin, which owns the water and power companies, is upset because we aren't using more resources that they can bill us for :D
