Rare fall California thunderstorm

in progress as I type. Raining lightly here ar my location with thunder observed in thbe distance to my south. Almost no wind to speak of.
This is due to the upper level low that had parked itself just east of here the other day and is now retrograding back westward towards the coast.
We have a nowcast for these storms until 3:00 AM local time. Waiting to see what will happen.
