Nasty Weather For Texas

Definitely not a pretty picture here in SE TX.
The tornado is about35 miles East of me in the Eastern suburbs of Houston. I'll post more as/if it becomes available. Where I am in W. Houston it isn't even raining at the moment, but we had almost 2" since midnight at the house.

Tornado confirmed on the ground east of Houston - Spencer, Driftwood area 15 min. ago. Some damage.

I am stuck at school with very limited info. I will be watching this board carefully today for info. I am at work, Westpark and hwy 6 and my kids are in Richmond TX . Good luck today in Houston!

GarnetCat5 the bad stuff is way off to the East now. However we have to watch for what could be the next round coming in from the West and Southwest this afternoon.

YIkes! I just looked at intellicast radar/summary and I'm scared....I am here at school until 6...so I feel pretty sure that's when it will be here heheh..I knew I should have brought the yaht today

Oh well, I digress... It's cloudy, windy and rainy up here in beautiful Cypress Texas.
But I just checked the radar and it looks like the bad weather is right outside my backdoor, so to speak. We have a huge expanse of open field outside the campus and it is always amazing to go out and watch the storms moving in from the west.
