With this current system developing over Texas, and yet snow in Southern California and the Southwestern States, we should brace ourselves for a continued training of severe weather from the Southern Plains to the Mid Atlantic States. This includes the Southeastern United States.
Based on the GFS medium range and the NOGAPS 850mb freeze line with it's continueous plunges into the deep south, and the set up of the sothern jetstream, these developing low pressures that enter the Southwest via California and Northern Mexico will bring severe weather events.
The GFS is showing a large scale outbreak possible for Sunday(28)-Tuesday(30) next week.
Everyone here has been keeping a GREAT watch on the weather, keep up the great work!!

Even though I am no severe expert, to say the least, I feared we were moving into this type of set up. I've seen it too many years to not recognize it coming.

Thanks for the encouraging words Bob!!!LOLOL!!!NOT!!!!

Sorry, but you should know by now, if I post something like this, then it's almost inevitable.
Being my time is very limited this year, I wanted to give you folks a heads up. A lot of you have been keeping a very close eye on the weather, figured I'd give my input being I had a few moments free from the phones, sites, ect.
USWeatherWatchers.Com is going under a complete reconstruction, as I promised. I hope I can get it done soon!!
As the say goes,"Get Er Done!" That's what I'm doing!!

Well my analysis is currently showing the same thing. Interesting to note, another twin system like the one that hit me in southern california 2 days back, is progged to pluge into my area again this weekend. Its a system just like the other one. Whatever happens in the Plains, or SE states this week, will happen again next week in the same locations if the analysis vertifies.
