Been following this one for over an hour now since the first reported touchdown west of Katy. We have at least one confirmed touchdown by a certified spotter about 2 miles N or my house. No damage reports in yet. Now in far NE Houston near the Intercontinental airport.

Finally NWS has allowed the Tornado Warning to expire since the storm has weakened. Now we wait for the next round(s)! I hope we don't get severe tomorrow as is being progged from every agency so far as well as my most trusted weather friends. At least we are kept preapared and informed. Always Better Safe than Sorry even it it doesn't happen.

We have had some major flooding here in Cy Fair... It is terrible! FM 529 going towards Brookshire is underwater... The retention pond in front of Langham Creek High School is completely full and spilling out onto 529... I know there is more to come, and I can already hear the thunder to the west of me... My sister is driving on 529 in Brookshire, she said the lightening is vivid and reddish in color... Very bad stuff on its way... and more tomorrow? Can it get any worse? (biting my tounge)
