Good evening everyone. 99 tornadoes is the latest count since yesterdays severe event began. The next problem besides the tornadoes could be devastating flooding over the next several days. 3-6 inches of rain has fallen according to doppler radar today across northern Mississippi and Alabama, parts of Tennessee and Kentucky. Could see local amounts of 12-15 inches over the next 2-3 days when you include todays rain to tomorrow and Wednesdays rain and severe threat. Tornadoes are likely, although not as widespread. Devastating floods are definitely huge possibilities as the cold front has stalled over the devastating tornado areas of the Mississippi valley. Jackson, TN included.

Over 3 dozen people have been killed in this outbreak, 8 now dead in pierce city, MO. Devastating and more devastation ahead.. So in addition to a tornado threat, I'm very worried about the possibility for devastating flash floods over the next two days. Keep an eye on this.
