My worst threat yet!

It seems, that after all that has happened close to me, I might not dodge the bullet this time.
I live in the city of Macon, in Macon County, Missouri. (MO Zone 025)
And, at the moment:

I'm under a PDS Tornado Watch until 700PM CDT.
I'm in the High convective risk area.
I'm in the 35% strong tornado risk area.
I'm in the 45% severe hail/wind risk area.

I've been paying atttention to the lifetime and tracks of the storms lately (nothing like a week-long outbreak to help your study skills),
and it really looks like we could have the big one this evening.
The main problem with all of the other storms, was A. It weakened before it hit, B. It missed, or C. It just didn't happen.

It looks as though A, B, and C will no longer help Macon dodge the storms.
The conditions are near-perfect for tornadic development in my area.
How can we get out of this one? Two words:
Got Miracles?

I'll be back to update you as conditions warrant.

BEAM... STAY SAFE! :o As a fellow Missourian here that has been through a couple tornado warnings (and tornadoes) this week... please stay very alert. If the county to your west or SW goes under a tornado warning and you think Macon is in the path... go ahead and move to your shelter then. It might be the only thing that saves your life.

Hi
I live in the KC area. We are under a Tornado Watch too until 7:00 PM. We've had no damage from the storms that have hit other areas of the metro hard.

Be careful Beam and all of our other Midwestern friends! Hopefully with the high pressure system over the GOM retreating, you guys should have a break.

Dodged a Bullet Today!!!

We had a Tornado Warning, but the worst passed to the north of Macon.
Our PDS watch was just extended until 11PM due to extremely strong cyclogenesis over N MO and E IA.
Something else is brewing, and will hit before the night is over.

Stay Safe!
