Sounds like we have some pretty nasty weather heading this way later tonight. Lake Charles Discussion even mentions possible severe/tornado threat for tomorrow:

INSTABILITY PARAMETERS REMAIN RATHER MARGINAL...PARTICULARLY
ACROSS LOUISIANA...BUT SHEAR PROFILES AND 0-3KM HELICITY VALUES
CONTINUE TO LOOK INTERESTING. SPC HAS THE ENTIRE AREA OUTLOOKED
IN A SLGT RISK...SPECIFICALLY MENTIONING TORNADIC POTENTIAL.
IN
ADDITION...MODEL AND HPC QPF VALUES QUITE IMPRESSIVE...WHICH ISN/T
SURPRISING GIVEN PWATS REACHINHG 1.5". MORE CONFIDENT IN THE
HEAVY RAINFALL POTENTIAL AT THIS POINT...SO WILL GO AHEAD AND
MENTION THIS POSSIBILITY IN THE FORECAST WHILE HOLDING OFF A
SEVERE MENTION WHICH HAS ALREADY BEEN ADDRESSED BY HWO AND SPS.

Let's hope things don't get too nasty.

Maybe it will be different to my east, but nothing remotely close to severe here. The line is about halfway through here and it's just moderate rain. I haven't even heard any thunder. Just boooooring rain.

Umm, I take that back. lol

I had popped into chat and a few people said that one line was all we were supposed to get. I was busy all day and hadn't checked the weather. I just got home and it's POURING here! I got soaking wet just trying to get into my house and I had an umbrella. Very heavy rain here and a lot more on the way.

We've had some heavy reain tonight with some thunder but nothing severe. Thankfully the rain is almost over because if not flooding would become a problem. So far over 2.50" today.
