I know of people who cancelled plans today because of weather warnings.

The squall line that is developing in the Gulf won't make it to central Florida until well after dark, perhaps even after midnight. It's a slow-mover. Today should be windy, hot and humid across most of the peninsula. The panhandle over to JAX is a different story though.

You have just described the weather outside perfectly. The warm wind feels very different than those cool dry NW winds over the last few months.
thanks :grrr:

Maybe something will pop up ahead of the main line later this evening. They tend to be pretty interesting.

The hot dry wind in Tampa feels really strange. Calm before the storm. I thought the storm was supposed to hit us after 4am.
