Yes, I saw that blob earlier on another map and was like, "Oh my, what's up with the big blob??? :eek:

It's an MCS, or Mesoscale Convective System, that unfortunately seems to have lost it's punch...and rain :grrr:

as it moves downstream in the direction of the Gulf Coast.

Whoever made that post about thunderstorms coming South into Loiusiana and they disipate they are correct.The Louisiana state line must have dynomat on it which destoys hurricanes.
