After a relative slow April and May, tornado alley may finally have some action today. Looks like a line of convection is beginning to fire from Wichita Falls Texas to OKC ahead of the dry line. These thunderstorms are likely to build rapidly this afternoon. Could be a stormy evening in Oklahoma.....MGC

s/sw of OKC a line of developing supercells are really starting to get going. Looks like I'll probably be close (maybe a bit closer than I want to be) to possible tornadic supercells here in Norman. I'll report what I can later today and though I don't have a camera (go figure) I'll try to share any pics my friends get today.

As was in another thread, Airman, i will quote vbhoutex....

A chance of severe weather or a high risk of severe weather developing is what the forecast is. It does not mean it will happen. It means the ingredients in the atmosphere seem to be right for the probability of severe weather developing.
