This weekend will feature a very intense Alberta Clipper bombing out over the northeast. Pressures are already down to 996 in SW Pa and its supposed to deepen rapidly when it hits the coast. If it were February, we'd be looking at 1 to 2 feet of snow. Winds on the backside from the NW on Sunday will be near gale force in some coastal areas.

This system is certainly showing a spin with it's current prssure of 996 millibars (29.41 inches) and rapidly deepening as it moves toward the New Jersey coast.
Last night in another thread in this forum, I mentioned that it appeared as though the pressure was in ths 980's... it was difficult to see the 'middle number' on the surface map loop.
It looks like an interesting night and Sunday ahead. It is overcast here now (across southeastern Massachusetts). Thunderstorms are possible late tonight/overnight into Sunday with very heavy rain causing street flooding in poor drainage locations.
