Since the 4 year drought ended in Lower SC...

Rainfalls since June 1st, 2002 have reached approximately 70" in just 1 years time ... or roughly 2 times the rainfall the two previous years ...

Hopefully, areas not getting any rainfalls will receive some soon, but at the same time, hopefully, not all at once, as so commonly which seems to be the case ... a feast or famine situation ...

Fortunately the ground has been able to contain a lot of the ground water which needed the recharge, but many of the area's rivers are at or above flood stage and have been since March ...

That is a mixed blessing then. We were in a drought too until this past El Nino winter, but thankfully ours is over too.
