Just had a nice, fast-moving, torrential downpour with a few thunder boomers moving across the island.
Heads up, Houston! Grab an umbrella before going out for lunch.

Thanks for the heads up Duckie. I did check the radar a few minutes ago and my first comment to myself was "hello outer rainbands of Emily".

Had a few squalls move through here in Corpus with some high wind gusts in the 30 to 40 MPH range which would almost be a typical windy day in April down here. I am getting more nervous for the RGV as that eye looks like it is moving closer to the mouth of the Rio Grande

Surprisingly enough, we had an Emily blip here in Austin. I had to check radar to be sure, but it was rotating with Emiy.
