It sure is summer in the south! Don't you just love when it rains and the sun comes out right after and it feels just like a sauna? (being sarcastic) Oh well at least the drought is over :D

PTracker, the sun coming out right after it rains can be excited for those of us who are weather enthusiasts. Didn't happen as much as it does here in Florida. Rainbows in Florida are common, too. :)

We had a pretty good downpour this evening with the sun shining brightly from the west. It created a full rainbow in the eastern sky as the rain tapered off, a pretty impressive sight.

Yes we love the "free suana" we get everytime that happens!!! The rainbows are more than adequate compensation most of the time however. Hasn't been happening as much as we would like here in Houston, at least not on my side of town. We are still in drought conditions here, though not as severe as they were. I had to use the artificial rain machine again last night. :D

Every day around noon here we have been getting thunderstorms. Cools things off for awhile then the sun pops back out and we have our free "sauna". Yucky!!! Makes for a bad hair day and you ladies know what I 'm talking about.

We've been fortunate here in Louisiana, I have yet to turn on the sprinkler or water any plants in the ground this month, whereas in May we had the sprinkler going almost every day!
