we had 40-45mph gusts in north Houston yesterday.

Peak gust so far today of only 20 mph, but I live in an area that is usually well protected from the wind. School nearby shows 37 mph gust.

My area had winds gusting near 40 last week and the winds are still blowing through the weekend.
It feels like Chicago where I'm at.

I'd gotten spoiled and the cold, gusty winds made Alabama feel more like Antarctica last night.

Here in Beaufort wind between 25-40mph last night when a line of rain came through.
