You need to stop here in Mississippi and give us some wet stuff. LOL! Seriously, we are in dire need of some rain. We have had (last time I checked) 37 wildfires here on the gulf coast. This is not normal for us to be having this many wildfires in a row. I don't know if it is because of all the debris, but God please send us some.

Yep, I just dug the sprinkler out, I'll be watering the yard tomorrow. Guess I'll wash the car, that's a good bet to have some rain. I think Gulfport has had a little over 10 inches of rain since Katrina....MGC

Y'alls situation has been similar to ours the second half of winter and on into spring. The rain is forecast again and again, but the measurable precip seems to always go by 75-100 miles to the north of us. I was up in Jackson, MS this weekend for a soccer tournament my son played in and there was evidence of ample rain in recent days...lush green grass, puddles of standing water, etc.
Meanwhile I'm running the sprinklers at 10 p.m. and we haven't seen more than a pavement wetter since Mardi Gras weekend... and not much really since December.
On the positive side, I guess at least it's a little peace of mind from t-storm gusts and torrential downpours for the thousands of blue tarpers in the region.

We need rain BADLY, only received .15" in March and we've had a continuous deficit since last summer basically. No hope in sight either as we only have a 30% chance of rain next Saturday. Looks like another hot, dry, and dusty spring is on tap for us this year
