FANTASTIC STORM! Lightning from every direction, 45mph winds. Lost power for a few minutes. Cloud to ground and Cloud to cloud bolts every few seconds. It's passing over now, I took pictures.
I'm just south of willingboro

Glad you are safe. We had one the other day exactly like that up in Toronto (Thursday June 29 afternoon) passed right over my neighborhood too. Loudest thunder ever. Woohoo

May 31, 2006 was the worst storm I've experienced while living in Waterloo. Continuous lightning, my body was in almost pain from the rumbling. Everything was shaking, then the power went out before we could get the tornado warning. It hailed a bunch too.

I had the worst storm in a couple of years the other day - 6/29, to be exact. Hail wasn't toooo big, about a half-inch at most, but the winds were a different story. My anonometer, which is both low and protected, recorded 43mph winds, so I figure the winds were right around severe criteria, as there were two 2-foot diameter trees uprooted just down the street from here. I have videos that I've been wanting to share, but I haven't found anyplace that would take a 56MB and 83MB file. Sounds like you had some fun up there, Floyd.

I got nailed last night as well by those storms. The winds really picked up and the lightning was constant. This makes it two nights in a row that I was under a severe thunderstorm warning and received one. Last night though I don't believe we had hail.

GOt caught in that stom on the 3rd too driving from the PA/NJ border back to Philly on rt 13, oh man, I haven't been in such a bad storm since 95 when 2 trees were knocked down by our trailer we used to have in Honeybrook PA, THAT was nasty!

We had a good one too between 3:30 & 4:00 pm. I saw a couple of Bradford trees split down the middle. It's ashame - those trees are beautiful, but have no central trunk. Once the branches start to weaken and you get a wind coming from the right direction, they split!

little bow echo came in, I found a down tree from the one on the 2nd.
