For the first time since May 12, there are no areas with even a slight risk of severe weather. Just a few isolated severe cells possible, but very localized. (In the initial forecast, no severe activity at all was expected)

Is it all staying farther north or south, or is the pattern just unusual?

I think it's just a normal lull. The cold front FINALLY passed through. It's beautiful here in New Jersey today! It's supposed to get hotter and more humid starting Sunday.

I'm trying to figure out if I am still in North Carolina . . it was 83 degrees today with low humidity and forcasted low of 59 degrees tonight. It is supposed to be the same tomorrow. :D I've turned the AC off for first time since late May.
