MAN it's HOT.......how hot is it? So hot that I put a jug of "sweet suntea" out about 15 minutes ago, came back inside, grabbed a smoke, went BACK out in less than 15 seconds and the suntea was DONE

3° off a record today, hit 94° at 1448 hrs.........not that hot you say? Have you been to the higher elevations during the summer? The UV rays are KILLERS up here at this elevation of 7102', just ask our summer visitors who visit the emergency rooms suffering 3rd° burns after a day of fun in the sun up here.......seriously, people who live in Phoenix burn BAD withing 2-3 hours.

It's absolutely soupy, muggy and very hard to breathe today. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if we get nasty T-storms later

Eh, Yuma earlier today reported a heat index of 110F. The HI's around PHX are in the 105-110F range.

That's been our blessing here as of this past week, the "weak" monsoon disappeared and it's DRY.......and I do mean DRY. RH values in the SINGLE digits, dewpoint in the TEENS again........yup, like they say, it's a DRY, DRY, popcorn far* DRY heat

BTW it rained here tonight so our heat may not be so dry later today not that it was all that dry Wednesday down here.
