Any ideas on what winter may bring

I know......it's STILL a long ways off, well.......not REALLY, approx 8 weeks away from autumn 
and being in the midst of a killer drought (12 years now 
) and in the grips of yet another KILLER heat wave, any ideas as to what this up coming winter MAY look like? I haven't heard any guess's yet but could a Mild El Nino be setting up or is it going to be another "El NADA" winter again?
