The heat wave has moved out of here, too, and we got a bit of rain this evening when it dropped to 66 degrees! This is what it is currently:
Observed at: Salt Lake City, Utah
Elevation: 4226 ft / 1288 m
68 °F / 20 °C
Mostly Cloudy
Humidity: 73%
Dew Point: 59 °F / 15 °C
Wind: 8 mph / 13 km/h from the SW
Pressure: 29.87 in / 1011 hPa
Visibility: 10.0 miles / 16.1 kilometers
UV: 0 out of 16
Clouds: Few 7500 ft / 2286 m
Scattered Clouds 11000 ft / 3352 m
Mostly Cloudy 15000 ft / 4572 m
(Above Ground Level)
That 66 degrees earlier today was the coolest it's been at any point in precisely 14 days, and we got .11 of an inch of precipitation; certainly not a lot, but it felt nice (not to mention it was the first measurable precipitation in 25 days, at least at the airport; my house got a thunderstorm a couple days ago). But it felt nice to say the least, and there's more expected tonight.

Heck, when it drops below 90 in Phoenix they issue a frost advisory

I remember back in 1997, temperatures at my hometown dropped to 63*F that summer during a rainy event.

You have a PUMPKIN avatar already??? That's just about as bad as starting to see the Halloween candy out!
You guys certainly went from one extreme with that humidity to this. I'm glad you're still getting rain though!

Si......I mean, think about it, harvest time is only 4 weeks away

Our veggie garden this year has been UNBELIEVEABLE, truly unreal....I've NEVER seen things grow like they have this year, the heat coupled with the "killer" dewpoints (60-75°) and RH values in the 70-80% range, has created PRIMO conditions.
