The only question is: Will it be enough to cover the 6 inch rain deficit?
Very doubtful. But hopefully, this is just a start of more consistent rain events. I'm hoping for an easing of the water restrictions in my area by end of Sept, but Lake Lavon needs a lot of rain for that to happen.

latest AFD mentions the front WILL make it!Yankeegirl wrote:ours too, they mentioned the front wont make it here, but the rain might... ill tell ya, my knees are really huring me! we better get something outta this!!

STRENGTHENING UPPER
TROUGH AXIS WORKING ITS WAY EASTWARD TOWARD THE EASTERN STATES THIS
WEEK WILL ALLOW A COLD FRONT TO MOVE THROUGH SOUTHEAST TEXAS SOME TIME
TOMORROW OR TOMORROW NIGHT. GRADUAL DRYING BEHIND THIS FRONT MEANS MUCH
DRIER WEATHER FOR THE AREA WEDNESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY. THE DRIER AIRMASS
WILL BRING COOLER OVERNIGHT LOW TEMPERATURES TOO...AND WE MIGHT EVEN
DROP INTO THE 60S ACROSS OUR NORTHERN COUNTIES THURSDAY MORNING AND
FRIDAY MORNING. RAIN MIGHT COME BACK INTO THE PICTURE BY SUNDAY AS ANOTHER
FRONTAL BOUNDARY APPROACHES THE AREA.
And ANOTHER front is expected on Sunday too!
