Wow! Talk about a tropical deluge here in League City. 3.58" in 1 hour. The streets are flooded in the neighborhood. No warnings or advisories from the NWS. My Davis weather station record a rainfall rate of 14.77"!!
The raindrops were massive. I will upload a few photos for display.

Wow! 3 and a half inches in 1 hour? Sounds like heaven to me.

I can just imagine for you. We get these types of downpours off and on all Summer. However its still amazing when its so isolated. 2 miles away there was no rainfall. We call it being in the right place at the right time :)

3.58 inches in one hour is heavy. About the rate your weather station recorded, is it 14.77 inches an hour? That's really intense right there. I don't want to even think about it under a hurricane.
