NOAA Weather Radio Voice change

I live in Orlando Fl, and my Local NOAA Weather Radio Station

is KIH 63. A few weeks ago I had noticed that there was a problem with

the Male voice's talking speed. I had written

to the Meteorologist-In-Charge

of the National Weather Service in Melbourne. And they Adjusted and

tweaked the voice speed of the Male Voice and slowed it down somewhat.

I'm VERY Happy because I NO LONGER have to Literally STRAIN my

Ears to hear my Weather!

Also, the Female Voice on my Local Weather Radio Station NOW does

the Hazardous Weather Outlook, she also does the Surf Temperatures

and High and Low Tides as well.

Quite a BIG Change I must say! :D

LOL!!

It'll be interesting to see what changes will be made on the other NOAA Weather Radio stations in the US.

BTW, My area is covered by KEC 55 (Ft. Worth, TX) and KEC 56 (Dallas, TX).

Well, I don't really know if there will be any changes to the Weather

Radio voices in your Neck of the Woods??

I've actually been a Listener of NOAA Weather Radio for 5 years...

And, REMEMBER that Old Male Voice "Craig"??

I MISS That Voice! He was my Favorite!

The Newer One of Today is Alright, but the Craig Voice was my

Favorite!
