COLD ARCTIC AIR IN COMBINATION WITH A STRONG NORTH-SOUTH PRESSURE
GRADIENT FROM THE ALASKA RANGE TO THE GULF OF ALASKA WILL
CONTINUE TO GENERATE EXTREMELY STRONG WINDS THROUGHOUT THE AREA.
WIND DIRECTIONS WILL GENERALLY BE FROM THE NORTH TO NORTHEAST
THROUGH THOMPSON PASS AND OTHER CHANNELED AREAS AND EASTERLY ALONG
THE LOWE RIVER. EXPECT WINDSPEEDS OF 65 TO 80 MPH WITH GUSTS TO
100 MPH THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING. WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO DIMINISH TO
35 TO 60 MPH BY TUESDAY AFTERNOON.

Yeow.. Usually I associate that with warming downsloping winds.. But cold arctic from the North sounds like quick freeze dried flesh.. They must still be moderating warmth and not subzero arctic like we think of and ahead of the real arctic air.. Temps are gonna drop when those winds let up.. Skip the kite flying..

I don't see it coming down that far without moderating.. Give it time and the true blue Arctic blast will be coming..
