Not necessarily a big snow event...

but definitely a snow event! You guys and gals will not get the warm weather we are getting. You will continue to get cold reinforcements that keep you much cooler than normal for at least another couple of weeks. Thus the frozen precip you see being forecast. I wouldn't expect a low abouove 40 in your area for at least a couple of weeks!

Hey neighbor! On Tuesday, don't expect much. It will probably only be scattered snow flurries with a mix of rain...no accumulation. For Wed night and Thursday, there will be more excitement. Thicknesses suggest all snow (according to the NWS), but the only problem is the conditions won't favor HIGH accumulations. IMO I'm thinking us in Raleigh will probably get around 3-4 inches, which is a hair more than what we got last week. Ironically, the counties further east may get even more snowfall.

Basically a wait-and-see type situation. We shall see... 8)
