Got here a couple of hours ago, nothing but rain and embedded thunderstorms moving in from the South. (Thats why I'm in this computer room). Hoping for better weather tomorrow.

Moved this thread to the USA Weather Forum as it's the proper one as the theme is not about the tropics and about hurricanes.

Thank you Jagno. Very nice day at the beach today. Even though mets forecasted 80% chance (on Weather Channel Local Forecast) no rain as of yet. Although clouds beginning to return. Brisk surf running 3-4 ft earlier today, perhaps less now. Took some timeout from the sun, but will return for late afternoon at the beach(love the cool breeze, reading etc...). Treat yourself will Jagno. Let me know how everythings is going for you. Bye.

Hope you enjoy your stay at P'cola beach, Berwick. The nasty weather has stayed north of the beaches so far, but its heading down towards this way.

Thank you Opal for that message. Yes the rains did eventually come, so I guess the 80% chance was fulfilled. Rains waited till about 6:30 PM, so we still enjoyed our day at the beach.
Overcast this morning. Didn't see the latest forecast. Really hard for me to read the "signs" here right along the beach. Much easier for me in S La. Whatever happens it will be just fine. I just finished refining a poem which I posted earlier called "House of Pain". I would think Opal, that you would be very happy in Gulf Breeze, its quiet and beautful, exposed as it is to the bay and to the open Gulf, beautiful indeed. I hope that all is well with you Opal.
