This past week we have experienced flood waters higher than ever. These idiots who live down the road come barreling through with water spraying so high it completely camoflauges their vehicle. In the meantime it's sending wave after wave of water further into our homes and garages. The water was sitting at 8.5" deep ON THE ROAD not to mention we have very deep ditches on each side. Short of using their tires for target practice I don't know what to do. I've tried flagging them down to ask them to stop but they are having fun and could care less.

When they were having similar issues here in Deltona a few years back, I remeber seeing on the news where the city/county placed "No Wake" signs up. That just disrespectful and annoying. Maybe you should contact your city and or county and see if they can do something.

Get their licence plate, video tape them. Then call the police.

Not just is it rude, but they're putting THEMSELVES in danger and they seems oblivious to it.

That irritates me when people drive on flooded streets. I agree with cat5 on videoing the fools. Send the video into kplc and maybe they'll air it and expose those people.

Actually, when they do that they quickly learn why they should not because their brakes get wet and don't function well anymore which can be a bit of a bother should they need to stop quickly.

GGGRRRR!!!! We had a similar situation here a few years ago. Got a good 9 to 10" of rain in 3 hours, water in about half the houses on the street, and just trembling on the edge of coming in our house. If anyone had sneezed it would have been over. We hear a bunch of noise at the intersection and see the same thing: kids in a monster truck aimed at trolling down our little cul-de-sac. Dave and several of the other men half strode, half swam down there determined to rip them out of the truck and give them the arse-whipping they deserved. The made the right choice: departed with no wake.

Natural selection at work. Forgive me if this sounds cold, but people are warned constantly in these situations not to drive through floodwaters. They ignore the warnings at their own peril, and I have no sympathy for them.

Publicly, they are known as stupid drivers in AZ and are called as such by the media.

It's called Chlorinating the Gene Pool.

Our area was flooded back in the early nineties and stayed that way for months. The no wake signs did help.

We have quite a few of those idiots here in AZ. For them, we award quite a few of those Darwin Awards as they will get swept down stream.

I'd see if the local police can do anything...they are recklessly driving and, on top of that, their waves are trespassing on private property (not to mention damages to private property if it is forcing the water into homes and stuff)
