I'll start my whining early today!!!

Currently(11:47am) 99ºf with and 75ºdp and 45% rh which translates to 111ºf heat index!!! Our low at the house this am was 82.6º. Not a cloud around today either. Could be another record breaker. Updates later on.

Sounds more like a 113º-115º heat index, but anyways, stay indoors in A/C by all means. I remember those days (which sounds a lot like 1986 here in Charleston, and South Carolina for that matter). Columbia, SC saw 26 days of over 100º in July.

All this heat really stinks, we need to get some rain back in our forecasts to knock down the temperatures. Either that or wait until October for a cold front.

Baytown Texas - 102 degrees. Heat Index unknown. The record at Houston Intercontinental Airport is 102 degrees - I think we will break it.

My grandmother lives in Brownwood. I hope she stays indoors!!!

So much for upper 90's...we've already broken the century mark here as well and surpassed the expected heat index.

Yes bfez...it's going to be a killer tomorrow!! Hopefully it won't be as hot as today.
