So I conceded that Katrina was not due entirely to GW, but there is little
doubt that the heat content that year, which fueled Katrina, was due
to GW.

Extreme cold winters, extreme hot summers --> The expected result of
a rise in global heat is more energy for the jet stream, allowing it to
plunge further south during the winter. So yes, a blizzard in Tampa Bay would
be a indication of Global Warming, especially if you consider the record
heat of many previous/abutting summers.
