International Tornado Thread

#1 Postby HurricaneBill » Thu Oct 07, 2010 10:07 pm

This thread will be for tornadoes around the world.

I'll start off with clips of the 2007 tornado that struck Piedras Negras, Mexico.

2007 Piedras Negras-Eagle Pass tornadoes

On April 24, 2007, a supercell moving along the Texas/Mexico border produced 2 destructive tornadoes. An F4 tornado touched down and moved into Piedras Negras. 3 people were killed and 87 were injured.

Across the border in Eagle Pass, Texas, an EF3 tornado touched down, leaving 7 dead and 76 injured.

This clip shows a car driving in Piedras Negras during the storm. Towards the end of the clip, the car encounters the tornado.
