I've been out to the North Sea dike to measure the wind speed for the last two hours.

Got a nice sustained 55 mph and a peak of 72 mph (116 kph) FIVE times.
That's FIVE times one mph/kph short of hurricane-force... damnit :)

Sea level was about 4 feet higher than normal but nothing to worry about.

Err... that’s actually 2 mph short of hurricane force but who’s checking? :lol:
