Furious tornado in Modena and Castelfranco, extensive damage

Yesterday afternoon hit Po Valley Emilia between Modena and Castelfranco Emilia, accompanied by severe hailstorms with grains as big as lemons

According to initial reports, the tornado would have caused extensive damage to some homes.

The videos to this are quite something. It's probably one the best documented tornadoes I've seen across Europe both in terms of amount of videos and quality.

I reckon the uprooted trees, substantial damage to houses and turned over cars put this somewhere along the lines of an EF3. 12 people injured, no casualties though, which is good news.

Incredible tornado, my jaw was starting to drop when I first saw the video of this bad-boy. Italy has been taking the tornado action since last summer it seems...Reed Timmer and team should chase over there right now  . I'd say its in the Top 3 tornadoes of this year (along side the Hattiesburg EF4, and that rural one in AL sometime in April).
