Forecast Discussion

A strong arctic front will push offshore this morning, preceded by light rain over the lowlands and light snow in the highlands. Snow showers or flurries will linger in the mountains as conditions clear over the lowlands. Most areas will respond to the abundance of sunshine as temperatures will remain mild. Arctic air will arrive later in the day and drive down temperatures all across the region.

Forecast Discussion

Low pressure will just pass to our North today but will increase the chance for some snow showers this morning. Mild air ahead of the cold front will allow a change over to rain showers just about everywhere and will persist throughout the day. As the front passes tonight, some clearing will occur and we receive another shot of arctic air on Northwest winds for Thursday.

High pressure to our northwest and low pressure out to sea are combining forces to draw another round of cold air down into New Hampshire. Skies will remain mostly free of clouds for the next several days, and once the high pressure passes offshore sometime Friday night, a southerly flow of warm air will begin.
