Hi, all! Been a lurker on this board for a while, finally decided to post!
My husband is in Beijing this week and I read on weatherunderground today that there were two typhoons near there. My geography is not that good :? so I was wondering if you guys could help me out. Is there any danger to him? Please explain....Thanks

Hi Tano

Well the the first typhoon of concern should pass too
the southwest of Hong Kong, it will probably go straight
over Hanoi Island!

The other Typhoon could present more of a threat to the
Chinese mainland further north, but tracking is still somewhat
unpredictable at this early stage!

A good website to veiw the current track and status of both typhoons,
especially the major one east of the phillipines is

http://www.prh.noaa.gov/pr/guam/satellite.html

Cheers Alan
