I was just wondering if anybody out there used an inverter for their PC and how many watts was it. I am using a CRT monitor fyi. I was looking at 400 watt mod. sine wave inverters and they are affordable. I want something that will allow me to check e-mail and the weather. I don't need hours of use.

I have a 1000 watt in my truck, but it's permanentally mounted and I also have many other items plugged into it. I also have a 400 watt backup for my truck. I also have a 250 watt backup. If all you're looking is to power your laptop, 250 watts is PLENTY enough.
