has anyone any other pictures of NOLO other than the French Quarter and the superdome that we keep seeing. Can't we get pictures of the areas badly affected?

Looking for more info on Baton Rouge... anything else to report other then widespread power outages and downed tree lines? Structures in tact? Damage assessment?

CNN and FOX have some video up East NO underwater. I think the worst of today will start being shown as night falls, everyone will return to their base and upload what they have.

Not much more to report from here in Baton Rouge other than a few trees down and power outages. My power was just restored an hour ago after being off all day.
Drove around a bit and didnt see much in the way of major damage.......trees, limbs, house shingles, etc. No major damage in the city as far as I know. No flooding concerns.....actually, we didnt get as much rain here as forecasted. Winds earlier today were 35-50 mph with higher gusts.

We were pretty lucky.

One news picture of a house in baton rouge with the livingroom crushed by a falling tree, people inside were OK.

Talked very briefly to the father of one friend, their house was OK, I think they were without power. Waiting to hear more.
