94 L and My new website

#1 Postby Jeffweather » Sat Nov 12, 2005 9:55 pm

94L... While it is late in the season and wind shear is high over the Atl waters conditions will become better for 94 L. A ridge will be shifting and building over the western Atlantic as a broad trough develops over the eastern US this week. At this point 94L looks great on the IR but we all know how deceiving that can be. With that said IMO it stands a much better chance than 93 of becoming something. If 94L doesn't develop where it is right now... look to the north along the south side of that stalling front. Once the ridge gets established to the north, the convection will be in a favorbale position to get better organized. So between 94L and the convection north of it, I think given a few days we stand a good chance at seeing Gamma here.

In other news... Please check out my new web site. I will be adding information about the potential for Gamma under "Hot Topic" tomorrow. The whole site is a work in progress. Please e-mail me with your suggestions!

Great site Jeffweather I think that 94L will go poof though and if it does develop it will move NNE and get caught in the westerlies.
