He never made it Mexico..... :lol: His remains are making their way into SW LA and Upper Texas coast....so I guess the early pediction of a Texas storm was correct. Only difference is we will have two t-storms to contend with and not a hurricane.....

I had previously thought Beryl, Florence, and Isaac would be the big ones.. but was obviously wrong on Beryl.

Let's hope I'm wrong about Florence and Isaac too.

Chris hit the Texas coast! He never made it back to a tropical storm! I can't see how so many people didn't see the mountains in Cuba tearing him to pieces. Bye Bye Chris! :lol:

I don't think it was the mountains of Cuba that did Chris in.
He was sickly and dying well before coming into the vicinity of Cuba.

Climatology ended up telling the story of Chris as the maps kept showing NO Tropical Storms crossing into the GOM from where Chris was and he kept up the history.
