Now that we have Hurricane Gordon, where are we at on Atlantic Hurricane season stats. Above Average - Below Average?

The average date for the third hurricane to form is September 3rd, based on a 30-year climo set.

Over that time period, 29 of 30 years had at least three hurricanes -- 96.6%
