Blob in East Pacific

Have anyone seen the blob in the pacific. look like it could be the east pacific first name storm

Certainly a lot of convection with it, and the water
temperatures can support development.
Now we wait and see if a circulation develops.
I am not sure what shear is like in this area though.

The windshear is a killer in the area, up to 50 knots, and the tendency over the past 24 hours is not helping. Alvin will have to wait.

For the first storm of the season usually you keep an eye on disturbances close to Mexico.
