Mark from Hurricanetrack.com in Texas City June 16th

#1 Postby KatDaddy » Wed Jun 06, 2007 6:59 am

I met Mark last year when he was at the Lowes. I will be getting the time he will be in Texas City. I was the only forum member to meet him last year.

Hey Brian:

Sorry to take so long to respond. Thanks for the link- awesome work there. Lots of time put in to that.

I am going to be in Texas City again this year- I think it's June 16. Will be inside this time with a nice set up. Hope you can come out for a little while again.

The season looks to be one of plenty of action. I hope that people indeed learned something from 2005 and took 2006 to prepare their homes, etc. I guess we'll see one way or another. Keep in touch and thanks again for the email! Hopefully I'll see you in Texas!

Mark

Wonder why there are no visits scheduled for St. Petersburg - unless I'm just missing it? No doubt, that's an area that will be SIGNIFICANTLY impacted if (when) it gets hit by a major.........

Lets see, I met him when he dropped off the HLP Vehicle, met him and Jesse Bass during Ophelia, and more recently, met him a couple weeks ago at the Hurricane Fair at the Lowe's in Morehead City. If you have a chance to go, then do so, he has quite a bit of information in handouts (including a big tracking map) and knows pretty much everything in the Lowe's stores that they sell. Got a genny question? He can certainly help you out with that as well.

Argh! He's going to be in Mobile Saturday and I can't make it! :( The menfolk are going fishing in the Gulf. We- the womenfolk and kiddos- have planned a fun day for us, too. Lowe's might be fun for me but I think the rest would prefer the beach. So, I won't be able to be there. There's always something that comes up. Oh well.... maybe next year.
