TSR July Forecast=15/8/3

TSR lowers its forecast a bit:

Eh, not a really big deal, 1 storm. 15 storms is still an active season.

What they mainly base the little downward July forecast is that the trade winds will be strong and that factor will cool the waters in the MDR region between Africa and the Lesser Antilles.
I wonder if the Cape Verde Season will not be as active as first thought?

Thats what I gather from their Forecast Summary at the beginning of the article, one less storm forming in the MDR region.
Still, 14 more storms for the rest of the season is still quite a bit above normal, but, I noticed they count tropical depressions that do not reach storm status in their totals for the season.
IF 96L becomes a depression but never reaches tropical storm strength it counts as one of the 14.
