Something to pass the time...but it really is amazing to see such vivid and striking footage from some infamous storms of the past (thanks to cyclonejim)...I had no idea such important gems existed!!!

1980 was a very hot and dry summer in Texas, I imagine Allen broke the heat wave.

Pretty sure that was the summer Dallas was over 100ºF about six weeks in a row, with some days over 110ºF

Impressive videos! :D

I have an idea. Should this thread be made into a YouTube hurricane thread for past hurricanes? Or should we have another thread devoted to that? I've been taking a look at some videos and have seen some that perhaps few, if anybody, on here have seen before.
