quikscat shows a large area of ENE winds (with patches around 30 mph) this trough covers a large area
the water temps are in the low 80's over most of area, does this have potential to be subtropical or eventually tropical storm or depression.

seems like this may want to take a dive south but south west would be interesting
there is some heavy duty northerly (N to S) flow over eastern carolina's

I have never seen a ULL, without any surface manifestation initially, take less than three days to build a tropical system underneath it.
